I was looking at Melanie Muenchinger's newest set, "Spring Basket" and realized that I hadn't yet done anything about the Easter Bunny!! :-) My card today is a typical basket that the pesky rabbit leaves for my daughter. :-)
Yep.. it's packed!!! There's ALWAYS a chocolate bunny... compliments of Asela Hopkins, "Chocolate Bunnies"... colored eggs... compliments of Melanie's "Basket Blessings"... a stuffed animals (usually a bunny)... also from Melanie's "Basket Blessings"... and the real meaning of Easter... a cross compliments of Nina Brackett's, "Christ Has Risen".
My card base is Pure Luxury Bubble Gum Pink and layered with white an Turquoise Sea. I stamped my basket onto some brightly colored DP because I always try to get as colorful as basket as I can. (Ooops... what I mean is... that BUNNY always leaves bright baskets! Hee Hee) All my images were stamped on the Layering Weight Pure Luxury and colored with Copic markers and cut out. I mounted it all onto a Lacey Circle Nestabilitie and added the pink ribbon and bow at the top. A little twine and my sentiment hanging from the handle. :-)
I wish it was this easy and I could ummm... leave the card for the bunny to put out... but I know I will be heading out to see what he has to bring.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! *smile*
