In Style Stamps for Dad

Well... did you EVER think I was coming back???? Phewwwww... me either!!!  But things have finally settled down a bit and I actually have a couple cards to share with ya, how about that??!!

Today I am sharing a couple cards that I created for In Style Stamps.  I am their Guest Designer for this month of June and I couldn't be happier!!! Woot Woot!!  I will admit... in the mess of things this last week, these are NOT what I'd call "the best I can do" cards but... I just didn't want to put off my post much longer.  I needed to get back into the groove of things... so... stay tuned because I cannot wait to spend ALL DAY Saturday playing with my ISS sets and coloring and creating to my hearts desire!!!

My first card was done with the "Stan" image my son picked out.  He has a way of teasing dad and he thought dad should have a "geeky" card... by all means! LOL  Trust me... my husband would NOT be caught DEAD in a sweater vest... much less a GREEN shirt OR "70's blue" pants!!!! LOL  But... Steven cannot resist getting a dig in at him every chance he gets.  So much fun seeing a father and son teasing each other.  *smile*

I colored my image with my Copic markers and mounted him on a circle Nestabilitie along with a Pendent background which I punched from what my son calls a "WILD" DP.  Of course the vest wasn't enough... so he wanted dad's card base to be in embossed with the Cuttlebug Argyle folder.  Ha!  Of course I didn't have JUST the sentiment he wanted so I told him he could just tell me what he wanted it to say and I'd do my best to write it on the tag.  "To a Rad Dad" was all it took and when I finished it up... he laughed imagining what dad would say when he saw it.  Still to come... *smile*

Next up... Emily's choice.  She loved "Chloe Wishing on a Star" and just had to use her for dad's card.

Of course, again... I let her chose what color Copics I would color Chloe with and the DP as well.  Did I ever tell you my daughter is 8 going on 20????  Well... when I asked her what sentiment she wanted she said.. "Well mom... she's kinda big... do I have to put anything on her?  Can't we just write on the inside?"  Yup... sure thing!  She LOVED the joined hearts charm I had and we tied that onto the ribbon and button that she noticed matched the card stock fabulously!  Hmmmm... I see a future stamper in our presence. *smile*

We colored Chloe's hair to resemble that of Emily's and added a few silver embellies to accent the hearts.

I think dad will be pleasantly surprised with how much they got involved with the making of their cards and with the week I had... I am too!!

I hope you come back and check out more of the In Style Stamps images and see what fun and how plain ADORABLE they are!!  I cannot wait to color more!!!

Have a great weekend and go create a memory.  *smile*

Ahhhhhh! This is just too precious. I love the fabulous coloring on Chloe, but it just shines on the CS and PP you used.
