Hop with Creative Clear Stamps

Hello everyone!! I'm so happy to be here and working with Creative Clear Stamps and Laura!! Welcome to the CCS Design Team 4 Introduction Blog Hop!! I hope you enjoy my creations and please feel free to leave a comment... I LOVE reading what you have to say.  Laura will be giving away some prizes at the end of the hop and you must be a Follower to have an opportunity to win so make sure you sign up to follow the CCS Blog.

Now to tell you a little about me by answering Laura's questions:

1)  Are you more a card maker or a scrapbookerI am more of a cardmaker at the moment but I hope to change that soon with my recent purchase of my Wacom Bamboo Craft.  I really need to get caught up!!

2)  Describe your craft room/area to us?  I actually have my own shop where I craft, teach classes and offer open time for card making and scrapbooking so I do all my work there.  At the moment it is VERY unorganized and messy because it is being remodeled and enlarged!!! YAYY!!!  I cannot wait for it to be finished.  THEN it is pretty organized... unless you look at MY stamping area.. hee hee.

3)  If you could only have TWO tools in your craft tool kit, what would they be?  Wow... that's tough.  I'd have to say my Cuttlebug (which includes my Nestabilities... hee hee) and DEFINITELY my Copics!!

4)  Have you ever been on a DT before?  I was on the Gina K Designs Center Stage Spotlight DT and most recently finished my three month term as a Hostess for Gina K's Stamp TV color challenges.

5)  What can we look forward to from you this summer?  I would have to say I do a lot of bright colors... a lot of Copic coloring and I am told I do whimsical creations. No wonder I LOL a lot!!! *smile*

6)  What are your thoughts for the stamp set the DT 4 gets to design?  Well, we have talked just a bit about that  and I agree with the other gals.  A stamp set to benefit children is always fun and I LOVE that we are donating to a charity.  I'm all for something that promotes growth, love and family.  I am thrilled to be a part of this process.

And now, on to my creation for the hop.

My card today was created using the "The Fairytale" sentiment single.

I mounted it on my Nestabilitie Ovals and Scalloped Ovals. I added a few paper roses, some lace and some cute little butterflies I found in my stash. I also added a few rhinestones to the tiara. EVERY princess needs her bling!!

On the inside I used a sentiment from the "Make a Wish" set and some coordinating DP.  And last but not least... even more bling!!

When I completed my card, I thought how fun it would be to give this to a little girl (probably my daughter who is 8 and TRULY believes she IS a princess) but then I realized, even at my age (NO I'm not telling you my age! Hee Hee) I too love to live a fairytale.  I know this because "I" had a "Cinderella" wedding... complete with glass (ok acrylic) pumps!!

I think this card will go to not my daughter, but someone who obviously deserves the status of Queen! *smile*

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the hop. Please stop by the other gals blogs and see what wonderful creations they have to share!!
