There's Comfort in Faith

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!  It's my turn to share my  Creatively Clear Stamps Blog designs again.  Today I wanted to share a more "manly" design card for you.  I used the Creatively Clear Stamps set, "Time for Prayer". 

I used a couple different digital "wood" DP that I had on hand to help make this more masculine.  I also used hemp instead of ribbon or other type of embellishment.  You know how men are about anything frilly... hee hee.

I colored the image with my Copic markers but the cross I paper pieced; again with the digi wood paper.  I used a small amount of Tim Holtz Distress ink, Antique Linen, around the edges of my Nestabilities Deckled Rectangle. 

On the inside I did a simple "Kraft" paper and simply stamped my sentiment in brown and also the corner floral stamp in dark green.  Again I used just a tad of the digi wood DP.  A few self adhesive nail heads (a man's best friend... compared to pearls!!!! LOL) and done.

A perfect sympathy, encouragement card good enough to give any man's man.  Right? *smile*  Have a great day and I'll be back next Tuesday with something fun!!
