Gina K's Botanicals Blog Hop

Tonight we are featuring the new Botanicals stamp set with a special technique themed blog hop event!

For both my cards I used the "Pullin Pastels" technique. You can check out Gina's Video on this technique HERE on Stamp TV.   I used the print stamp to create my own background DP and instead of adding several colors of pastels, I used just one single color and wiped it back and forth across my card stock.  I think this gave it a bit of a "breezy" look as if the flowers were blowing in the breeze.  A few Self Adhesive Nail heads to bring out my "bow" done with copper cording.  I think would make a great sympathy card or a get-well card as well.

For my second card I decided to go with a dotted design with my pastels.  My background was done with a striped DP and full of colors.  I liked the dots and stripes mixed up together to create a colorful card.  And just to set it off... a black stitched ribbon and double looped bow made with my Bow Easy.  Perfect for a simple "note" card or to add into a "general" card set.  *smile*

Please visit these designer's blogs for their project using a variety of techniques all made with the Botanicals stamp set:
