Jessica's Spring Floral Kit

Cheery, hopeful and soft is what I think of when I first saw Jessica Fick's Spring Floral Cards Kit. The flowers included in the "Spring Florals" set are sooooooo welcoming to me after having yet another day of snow yesterday. Gina K. did a wonderful job with this set and wow, did she ever define what Spring is with the flowers she chose. Jessica's set comes complete with precut card stock and instructions on how to put these wonderful cards together. I couldn't help but add my own "little" twist to them to make the design my own. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on each card and also embossed the "Creme de Menthe" card stock. I changed up the Nestibilities that I used for each image and then... grabbed that wonderful Copic Airbrush System that I am determined to use and get use to. *smile* My flowers were colored with my Copic markers except for the crocus image. Those flowers I used my Kooh-i-noor pencils and OMS with my blender stump to color them in. On the inside, I went simple and clean and stamped each image to match the outside of the card and using the new Vivid ink, "Violet Mist" and my sentiment in black ink. I didn't photograph the envelopes, but I again stamped the matching flower with each card. I used one of Gina's Clear Box's and put all the cards and envelopes inside. I then wrapped a piece of the sheer Vibrant Violet ribbon around the box and used my Bow Easy to add a simple bow. Jessica simply made this set a BEAUTIFUL set to give as a gift at Easter or any time of the year!! You so rock, Jessica. Have a great day! *smile* Signature
