My card today is special for two reasons. First... it is one of the new stamp sets which was released Thursday night at
Gina K's Release Party, called
"Hope Is Faith". Secondly... Gina created this stamp to benefit Haiti. For every set sold, $2.00 will be donated to the Red Cross to assist in their efforts to help Haiti. Way to go Gina K!!!!
My layout for this card was based on a sketch Lee Murphy created for the Release Party and I was honored she asked me to make a sample to be shown along with her card.
I stamped my butterfly and colored it in with my
Copic markers. I used my
Cuttlebug embossing folder "Leafy Branch" and instead of layering it to the
Nestabilitie Circle, I cut the branch and leaves out and mounted those. I then applied my butterfly to the branch.
I placed three
Rain Drop Eyelets in the upper right hand corner, following the sketch.
My DP is from the
Sugar Rush paper pack.
I hope you allow yourself to purchase this wonderful,
"Hope is Faith" set and help the American Red Cross care for and assist Haiti.
Have a great day! *smile*
