Clean and Easy with a Sparkle
Today I was looking at Theresa Momber's newest set, "Perr-fectly Delightful" and decided I wanted to color the flowers in but do a very simple card that would just focus on them.
I used my Copics and went for soft but a bit of brightness to them. I highlighted at the center and moved outwards to a lighter shade. I added the darkest color to the middles.
I also decided to mount them with a very small border of the Paper Temtpress', Astrobright card stock, Fireball Fuscia. Then I mounted it on the newest cardstock, White Pearl Linen. It is just so gorgeous and adds just the right amount of glimmer to not be overpowering for a clean and simple card.
I didn't want to take away from the beauty of this paper so I did a very simple Nestie cut with my scallop oval and the plain oval to create a frame on the inside that I could place my sentiment in later. I also used my Stardust Glitter Pen to add small dots to each scallop.
Exciting News: I am guest designing for Theresa Momber this month and will be showcasing several cards I created with her wonderful "Perrr-fectly Delightful" set!! Yay me!! Keep an eye out for more to come on my blog AND on Theresa's blog. I am honored to be designing for her... she is a rockin illustrator!!!
