When
Theresa Momber came out with her
"Life is Good" set it made my heart fall. The train was something my dear dear father-in-law would have loved to see on a card. He was a huge fan of trains and I'll never forget how much he loved getting gifts from us that were train related.
It was hard for me to actually do this card because I felt a bit of sadness as I was trying to lay it out. I know that I will make something more with this wonderful train but the first shot was, hopefully, the hardest.
I used my
Koh-i-noor pencils with
mineral spirits to color the train. I love the ease you can shade with these pencils. Also, it was Selma's
Blast from the Past challenge on
Stamp TV and I wanted to play along.
Be sure to check out the Blast from the Past challenges when you can. They all have
videos from
Gina K herself on Stamp TV that show just how easy it is to use these techniques.
Have a great day! *smile*
