Relax and Pray.. often...

Today's card reminded me of an empty space. A void you get when you've lost someone near and dear to your heart. Though I LOVE the image from Asela's newest set, "The Journey"... the emptiness of the chair made my heart yearn for those I love that are gone. I went pretty neutral with everything on the card. It just seemed more soothing and relaxing to me. The paper is the newest from Gina K Designs, Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight Soft Sand. I LOVE this new color!! I also stamped some of the flower images, from Comfort & Peace, on the side in the new Vivid ink, Tuscan Sand. It almost looks "gold-like" to me on the paper. My pearls were simple WHITE pearls which I colored using my Copic markers. I LOVE that I can match my pearls with whatever colors I'm using. I do the same with my clear rhinestones. I think Gina's pearls and rhinestones are the best... they are so easy to pop off and there is no excess glue between them on the sheet. I detest having to use my craft knife to trim off excess glue on my embellishments. You really need to try these out. I hope you have a relaxing Sunday!!
