A Mother's Love...

Nothing can take the place of a mother's love, can it? When I bought the Kindred Spirit, Rachel, stamp from Gina K, I knew that some day I would use it in a scrapbook album along with artwork my kids made while in school. I don't know what your refrigerator's front looks like, but mine is filled with things they have made for me at school.. just like this stamp's image. Some days, I decide to take them all down and store them away for scrapbooking and THAT'S the ONE thing that gets noticed more than anything else in the house. I can clean until each object just emits a sparkle so bright it would blind you, or buy a new picture to hang on the wall, or even leave all the towels on the couch hoping someone would come by and fold them for me and trust me... NO ONE notices!!!! But move the art from the refrigerator and BANG! "MOMMMMMMM... WHY did you take down my picture?????!!!" Uh huh... this stamp will definitely go in a scrapbook. I did a small amount of stitching around the image for a challenge I was doing over on StampTV and sadly, BOTH machines I had ended up breaking and all I could do was a straight stitch. But... it worked enough to enter the challenge. NOW, I have the wonderful Janome Sew Mini that Gina used in her stitching videos. AND... believe it or not... Gina gave one away to a lucky participant over on StampTV. (whispering... I hear she's gonna give another away some day soon...you might wanna wander on over and sign up, it to is free!) I'm gonna relax today and get some stamping done. If you get a chance, take time to thank your mom and remember all the things she did when you were young to make you feel special... like putting up ALL that art! *smile* Have a great Sunday!!
