Looking for a spot as a guest designer on a DT? You have to check out Roses on Paper & Belles 'n Whistles Combined Challenge Blog! All the details are on the site.
I love the Magnolia stamps and couldn't resist giving this a shot! My card follows their Challenge 21 requirement to use "stitches" of any kind... rub ons, stamp, or a real sewing machine. Well... since I HAD to have my new Janome Sew Mini that Gina K shared a video tutorial on, I figured I might as well do the real thing and "stitch"!
It's a special time when I read to my daughter at night before bed. She loves seeing all the pictures and making fun of all the goofy characters we come across in her books. This little Magnolia reminded me of her giggling whenever she sees a particularly funny one. Isn't it just darling?!
My DP is from a pack of paper I bought quite awhile back from SU and I hoard as much of it as I can so I don't run out!!
My sweet Magnolia and the books were colored using my Copic markers. I love the bright colors!! I wrote in story titles on each spine. *grin* I used my Nestabilities to make the circle and scalloped circled then freehanded the moon for my cutie to sit on.
I recently found this challenge blog and can tell you, I will be going there often as I went thru some of the challenges and I just love the "simplicity" of their challenges. Sometimes they are just colors... sometimes they are a sketch and sometimes just a minor requirement, like this one... to stitch. Check it out and while you're there... there's still time to try out for the Guest DT position!!
Have a great day! *smile*

Tina this is just stinkin cute - goodness girl - your mojo is workin' overtime. Thanks for the sweet comments on the JUGS challenge blog - You asked how I got on that team (me dirty rat LOL) Well, it's simple really, I am one of the co-creators of the blog!!! It's a few girls who were on Lauren Meader's My Time to Create team - but when Lauren stopped doing her challenges, two of us decided to start a whole new challenge blog! SO that's how I got on the team LOL *giggle* SO far it's amazing - we have had 41 participants so far (in 2 days) and have 77 followers - more than my blog *hmmmm* Hope you can play sometime :-)
I totally LOVE your buttony bow! You did a perfect job with it! I have a hard time with satin ribbon, its slippery and I find they get "floppy" but your is so pretty!!
