Patterned Papers are Sew Fun...

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to a Patterned Papers are Sew Fun blog hop. For this hop we will showcase the fabulous Gina K. Designs Patterned Paper line, stamps, and some fun sewing techniques! The DT Members have all used the wide variety of stamps and paper in this hop to inspire you to get inky too!! Come play along with the Current Challenges at Stamp TV!!!

If you came from Lori McAree's blog, then you're right where you should be. If not, please go to Stamp TV  where you will find a list of all those participating.

My card today uses the Stamp TV Kit, "Petals & Wings" stamp set AND the coordinating Gina K Paper Pack by the same name!   My card base is Pure Luxury Black Onyx.  I layered on some Lemon Drop then that fabulous Patterened Paper!  My images were stamped on White using Memento inks.

As for the stitching... nope... I'm NOT a seamstress of ANY kind.  I used my paper punch and a black marker to add my faux stitching.  :-)

I hope you add a little stitching to your card, even if you have to do it the "imitation" way like I do; and I hope you enjoyed the hop today.

If you missed the beginning of the hop, you can stop over to Stamp TV and see the list of DT members who are included!!

As always, thanks for joining us today and have a fabulous Thursday!! *HUGS*

Love this, Tina! Those colors really pop, especially against the dark stitching. OMgoodness, you must have the patience of Job to do all that by hand! Love it! <3

What a bright and colorful card which is sure to cheer a recipient up in every way. And, the faux stitching...again so perfect. I am too shaky to do such perfect stitching, but I love yours. Thanks for the inspiration.

What a bright, creative card. I like the strips being offset in stair step.

I'm with you. I hate sewing. I have not found a hand machine that works well. I can't believe this is done with a black marker. This is a beautiful card. Thanks

You've done a great job on the faux stitching Tina -- I was remarking to myself how much time you must have spent doing all that cross stitching! Thanks for sharing your wonderful card.

You did a beautiful job on the faux stitching. That might be something I might have to try as I don't care to stitch with the machine either. Nice work!
