Gina K Designs April Inspiration Hop Day 3

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

I have to admit the "Lacy Borders" set is making it VERY easy to do simple single layer cards and this one was no exception for me.  I started with some Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight White and stamped my lacy border in Memento Cottage Ivy.  I added the flowers from the "One in a Million" set using Memento London Fog.  I stamped it twice one next to the other but a bit lower on the second image.  Next I used Tuxedo Black to stamp the flowers again in the middle of the London Fog stamped images.  I colored it using my Copic markers and added some self-adhesive rhinestones to the flower centers which I also colored with my Copics. I didn't worry about the grey ink showing thru on my flowers.. it just seemed to add a bit of transulency and shading to the flower petals.

Truly love the look of that lace.. it really looks dimensional; don't you agree??  ;-)

Now check out all the amazing designs and inspiration:

Tuesday, May 1st

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you've enjoyed the last three inspiration hops the Design Team has shared.  Remember you can always look on the Stamp TV Gallery for even more inspiration and I know the team always has more posted there than we share on our inspiration hops.  We'd never get done if we put all of them on a single post. LOL

Have a great day!! *HUGS*
