Gina K Designs DT Inspiration Hop Day 2

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

For my card today I decided to think "outside the box" and do a few black ornaments.  Who does that?? LOL  Well... I really like it!!!  Beth's set really gives you a ton of options and I just couldn't resist showing as many of those ornaments as I could fit onto one card!!

I started with some Pure Luxury Turquoise Sea and added a layer of Black Onyx.  I stamped my images on white and for the teal one, heat embossed it for some added dimension.  The long filigree ornament has to be one of my favs in the set!!!

With Tami's sets it's always fun and easy to do a CAS card.  I wanted to showcase this awesome snowflake sentiment with some of the awesome paper in the newest Patterned Paper Pack, "Merry Little Christmas".

My card base is Pure Luxury Ivory.  I added the Patterned Paper then another strip of Ivory which I stamped the snowflake on.  I used the lid of a nearby glue bottle to make my cut around the top and bottom of the snowflake.  I added Stardust Stickles to the ends of the snowflake for added pop and dimension.

I REALLY like this card.  I'm  sometimes surprised at how a card finishes up and sometimes wonder how I got there! This is one of those cards! LOL

My card base is Pure Luxury Fresh Asparagus.  I added some Cranberry Tart and more of that fabulous paper from the "Merry Little Christmas" pack.  I stamped the background words onto Sand card stock and then my mistletoe.  Once I got to stamping these berries and leaves, I was hooked on the set and wanted to make more.  Ha  So fun doing little "connect" sets! I distressed the edges and added some Tim Holtz Distress ink, "Pine Needles" around the edges.

Check out more  amazing designs and inspiration from the rest of the Design Team:

Again... don't forget to add your comment for a chance to win a bag of stamps and goodies from Gina K Designs!!!  Have fun hopping and remember there's another day of inspiration coming tomorrow and yet more chances to win!!!

Have a fabulous Tuesday!!! *HUGS*

All the cards are so gorgeous but I really think the teal and black one has so much going on with those colors. It is just an amazingly wonderful card design.

Tina, love all 3 cards, but my favorite is your 3rd one with the mistletoe. The distressed edges really add a fun visual to the card. Nicely done.

The black and turquoise ornaments are so elegant. You wouldn't think that black could work so well for a holiday card. I love the Mistletoe Memories card. The printed paper coordinates so well with the stamped image.

gorgeous projects! (a little late in my hopping, but still wanted to comment). great vintage effect on the last card with the distressed edges and that awesome bow and button (or brad) in the centre! And I just LOVE the black and turqoise/teal colour combo on your first card with the ornaments!
