I'm preparing myself to get a few "thank you's" done before I know I need them. Well, one I already DO need, but it seems I either need a birthday or a thank you card and just when I think I'm covered, I'm not! So... today I thought I'd share one of my stashed thank you cards with you. I just LOVE Melanie Muenchinger's, "A Charmed Life" set that she released a few months back. She has added soooo many adorable "charms, sayings, etc." that can be added to the wine glass you won't have any problems finding just the right thing for most any celebratory toast. I know for me, my favorite wine is a deep burgundy. It seems it takes some practice to really get that "liquid coloring" technique down, and I keep plugging away, so don't give up to early when you try to add wine (or whatever beverage you'd like) to a glass or vase stamp. I am in no way ready to enter my technique into a contest, but I will say it looks much better than my first attempt. LOL I first colored my wine in with my Copic markers . It's kinda hard to see in the photo, but I added some of Gina K's Metallic Paste to the wine from the Holiday collection which has a burgundy color in it. It just gives it the right amount of "glimmer" you'd see from a glass of wine. I had no real "design" in mind when I started this and just kind flew by the seat of my pants from the very beginning to the end. I think I like how it turned out.
