And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

First up.....

I'm so much of a "literal" kind of girl sometimes and when I see the "basket" word, I think "ok... this NEEDS to be used with a basket"!  But noooo.. not this time!! This time I decided I can do this WITHOUT "following the rules". Hee

I used Pure Luxury Sweet Mango card stock for my base and added a small layer of Wild Dandelion.  I stamped the Halloween "basket topper" and used my Kooh-i-noor pencils to color the image and some OMS to blend out the colors a bit.  I love that the card LOOKS Halloween but with a little message of love so even my dear hubby can have a small "treat" this year when the kids head off trick or treating.  ;-)

I decided to go "outside the box" again with this card using Theresa's set.  This time I went for a single layer card but.. I water colored my image.  I haven't done that for quite some time and I forget that using water colors is such a nice "forgiving" technique.  If you add to much color, you can correct it so easily with just a bit more water!  I thought the bridge would look even more "distressed" and older if I water colored it as well.  ;-)

My card base is Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight White.  I stamped my image using Memento Tuxedo Black before water coloring it.  I really like how it came out and I think every image in Theresa's set can easily be water colored for a nice "set" of cards to package up as a gift!

Now check out all the amazing designs and inspiration from the rest of the Design Team:
Thanks for stopping by and remember to leave a comment on each members blog for a chance to win a grab bag of stamps from Gina K!

Come back tomorrow for another day of inspiration from the Design Team!  *HUGS*

Your cards are so cool! But I must say I love how the Halloween images are peeking over the top of the ribbon details. That is very clever. And great ribbon I might add as well!
