Have a GOOD Hair Day!!!

Oooohh La La... if MY hair looked like this.. I'd.. well.. never mind.. it never will! Ha Ha!  BUT...  you can certainly dream and... have a fun time looking at all the fabulous "hair" colored creations provided by the Color Me Creative Design Team who is challenging you this week to color up some hair!!! LOTS of hair!!! And show us your style!!!  The Design Team is using fabulous digi images by Crafts & Me so hop on over HERE to see what they have and join us for a GOOD hair day!!  ;-)

My image uses "Kissy Fish" by Hannah Lynn.  I started her with Pure Luxury Red Hot card stock and layered on some Sweet Mango.  I added another layer of Red Hot and used the Polka Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder to add a bit of texture.  My image was colored with Copic markers and I cut her out before adhering with Pop Dots.

A little tip about coloring images that you want to cut out that have small areas which can be a challenge to cut out... like the small areas between her hair.  Copic color it to match the background.  ;-)  That way you don't have to cut with an Xacto knife or take a chance on cutting more than you want with scissors.  Gotta love those Copics!!!

I'm hoping you have a great Saturday! I'm taking my kids to the Art Festival downtown today.  Sooo much crafty goodness to see and fun things to do!!  IF I make it home without some kind of inspiration then I KNOW my mojo is missing!  Not much I've been creating lately I've like so I'm hoping to jump start today and see what happens at the festival!! ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!!! *HUGS*

I hate fussy cutting . that tip to color the hard to cut areas with the background color will save a million wrinkles and finger cramps from squinting at & cutting those little bitty parts. that is probably the best tip on coloring and cutting I have ever had . You rock
