Today I'd like to share with you a card I created for the Gina K Designs Release Party last week. As always... Melanie Muenchinger never disappoints! Once again she has added to the state flowers sets with "Stately Flowers 4"!
My card base is Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight White which I layered with some Red Hot and then added some Lemon Drop. I used the Polka Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder on the white before adhering it to the Lemon Drop. Prior to adding it to the Red Hot I cut out an opening using my Oval Nestabilities so that the red would show through both layers.
I colored my flower with my Copic markers and cut it out before adding inside the oval using Pop Dots. My ribbon was run inside the oval and the outside edge of the yellow and white. I added the sentiment on yellow and dotted it using my Inkssential's White Opaque Pen.
I can't wait to see the next Stately set Mel designs... I am always amazed how much I learn about the different flowers she adds each time she adds to the series!
