Join us in a Double Take hop! Members of Gina K.'s Design Team have come together to host a hop where we will show you how to make cards using the same products and stamp images to create two very different cards.
If you came from Vicki Dutcher’s blog, you're at the right place. If not make sure to head over to StampTV where you will find a list of all those participating in today's hop.
Here is my first card I created using Melanie Muenchinger’s, “Basket Buddies” (closed)
And open (a swing card design)….
My next card uses the exact same stamps, ribbon and button embellishments.
As you can see, I used the adorable puppies from Melanie’s set and the cute “pillow/bed” for them to rest on. I used the same sentiment from the set and added a “paw print” ribbon which I distressed using Tim Holtz Distress inks in Antique Linen on the first card and Tattered Rose on the second card. I also added the same button for each card. And… of course, the new puppy had to have the adorable bow image around it’s neck as well.
I used Pure Luxury papers and on my first card used DP from Basic Grey’s Max & Whiskers and on the second card my DP was from the Echo Park Springtime pack.
Now head on over to Theresa Momber’s blog to see what she's sharing with you today!
Enjoy the hop and thanks for stopping by!!! *smile*
