Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 2

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a few days after the hops.  Off we go...

Today I was getting crazy with my Scor Buddy and Theresa's set was perfect for the gate fold design!  I started with some Pure Luxury Sweet Corn.  I used my Scor Buddy to create the gate fold layout... LOVE that it has the markings already on it for that.  I added some Fresh Asparagus card stock to each side and on the right I added a piece of DP from the GK Patterned Paper Pack, "Casual Friday".  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the flower shape then stamped it and used my Copics to color it in.  I used my Spellbinders tags to add my sentiment.  I added a couple copper nail heads to the ends to cover the openings on the ends.

For Beth's set, I decided again to wander into a different card layout rather than the normal A2 fold.  I used the twisted easel and I LOVE using this layout.  So much fun to work with.

I started with Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart and added some DP I found in my stash along with more Cranberry Tart and DP before adding my Lacy Square Nestabilitie with Pop Dots and then my sentiment on White using my Labels 4 Nestie.  I sponged on some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen before removing the nestie from the cut.  I also added a few flourishes that I cut using my Silhouette Cameo... fun fun!!

For the inside I covered it in Kraft and again using a smaller Labels 4 size cut out some Cranberry Tart and added my star which I heat embossed in gold.  I used the Pop Dots on it so that when I opened my easel, it would rest agains the Labels tag.  Here's a picture of it closed.

Now check out even more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team:

Remember to leave your comments on each DT's blog for a chance at a grab bag from Gina K Designs.  FAB time to get a FREE "gift" for yourself, right???!!! :-)

Have a great day and I'll be back tomorrow with more Gina K stamps and inspiration!!! *HUGS*
