Lots of Love Coming Up...

Soooo.. up next on our holiday list... yup... no time to stop and rest.... we move on to the next!! Valentine's, of course!!  I can't imagine a better way than to use these awesome images from I Brake for Stamps', "Kisses Cammy" by Chelsea Leigh.  I think her little Cammy images are each so sweet.

My card base is Pure Luxury, Red Hot layered with come White then a layer of Cranberry Tart.  I colored my image with my Copics and added her with Pop Dots.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut my "LOVE" and the flourishes I used.  The little puffy hearts are actually from a "ribbon" strip which I cut apart and mounted onto the card.

I KNOW you will see many many more red, pink and white Valentines coming up and I'll be the first to say, you WILL see a purple one here as well! LOL  Hey... love DOES come in many colors, right?? Hee Hee

Wings & Glittering Hope...

Happy Thursday everyone!!  I hope you are all are having a good day.  And if it was a bad one for you yesterday, as it so appeared (to me anyway) to be for LOTS of people on Facebook... after the election results and all, I pray that today finds you calmer and in good spirits.  Lots angry people out there but I suspect plenty of happy ones as well.  Soooo... I decided we all need a little bit of "Hope".  My card today uses I Brake For Stamps, "XL Butterfly".  I LOVE LOVE butterflies and this one just takes the cake for me!!  I have had it for awhile now and truly been dying to get to it and get it colored up!!

My card was created for the Outlawz Challenge, Twisted Thursday.  Your design should include "wings and glitter".  Be sure and join us and enter for a chance to win!!!

My card base is from Papertrey Ink, "Blueberry Sky" and I layered it with some "Spring Rain" which I ran through my Cuttlebug using the "Polka Dots" embossing folder.  I added a strip of Patterned Paper from the "Hello Sunshine" pack.  I added a 4" doily for a bit of texture and then some rhinestone flourishes.  My butterfly is stamped on Cryogen White card stock from the PaperTemptress.  I colored it with my Copic markers and cut it out before popping it up on my card.  My little "Hope" embellishment I've had for a very long time and just needed a reason perfect setting to use it.  Today was that day!

Winter Warmth...

Sooooo who's ready for some snow?? OH!!! Did I say the "S" word??? OMGosh!!! So NOT my way to look at the next few months.  (Notice I didn't say the "W" word??!!! Hee) I am really enjoying playing with these adorable Chelsea Le Designs stamps!!  This little cutie is "Winter Avie" available at I Brake for Stamps along with the other Chelsea Le Designs.

My card base is Pure Luxury "In the Navy".  I added a layer of "Little Boy Blue" and some of that fabulous Patterned Paper Pack, "Blizzard".  I stamped my image on White and colored with my Copic markers.  I cut it out using my Spellbinders, Labels 4, before adhering with Pop Dots.  

I added a few snowflakes which I cut using my Silhouette Cameo and on the smaller snowflakes I added some Diamond Glaze and Crystal Galmour Dust.  

I'm not ready for the "white stuff" but I can't help love the shimmer and shine that comes with the season.  Thank you for stopping by today and no matter where you are... keep warm.... it's MY favorite season!  Hee Hee  *HUGS*

Hi friends... today I'm sharing a softer serene image.  Mostly because this is how I feel today.  NOT angelic.. oh no.. that's not MY style.. LOL  Of course, those of you who know me, yep, you know this.  HA!  But... I DO like soft... pastels and definitely sparkle.  This sweet angel is another Chelsea Le Design, "Christmas Angel Avie" available at I Brake for Stamps.  

My card begins with Pure Luxury Bubble Gum pink card stock.  I added on a layer of white and then some DP I found in my stash.  My image was stamped on white and colored with Copic markers.  I used a moon, star corner border and one of the clouds I found in the Silhouette Cameo store.  The cloud on the right is from La La Lands die set, "Cloud, Sun and Island" set.  

Of course, I added as much Stardust Stickles as I could here and there.  Nothing trumps "sparkle"!!!! Hee

"Wooo Hooo Witchy Woman...."

Do you know that song??? LOL  Oh gosh.. I'm showing my age AGAIN!!! Well... hopefully I don't look as bad as THIS witchy woman!!! ;-)  My image was given to me as a challenge by my fearless leader, Suzanne Dean.  Ya ok... I'll work with her! LOL  "Busted Down Witch" is from RickStdennis's Etsy store.  He has some real "witchy" stuff there... My card started with Pure Luxury Black Onxy.  I layered on some Tomato Soup... OMGosh I LOVE that color!!  I layered on some Halloween DP from Authentique.  My image was printed on Copic Xpress paper and colored with Copic markers.  I added a few flourishes and the web which I cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  My sentiment is from Beth Silaika's set, "Wicked".  I used Versamark to stamp the stars over the sentiment to give a hint of a watermark.  :-)

The more I look at this "witchy woman", the more I think, hmmmmm maybe I FEEL that way lately! LOL  Today was huge stressful day but tomorrow's a new one and I know it can only get better, right? I'm working on videos still and hope I can get most of them done by Sunday.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  It's going to be a lot of work but I KNOW I can do it!!

Lifting Us Up....

Have you seen the new line of rubber from I Brake for Stamps??? OMGosh I am soooo in love with the new Chelsea Le Designs!!!  My card today features "Blossom Fairy Cammy".  

My card base is Papertrey Ink's, Hawaiian Shores.  I layered on some Enchanted Evening card stock then a piece of DP from the Gina K Designs Patterned Paper Pack, "Blizzard".  I added a few rows of punched lattice/lace and then some self-adhesive embroidered tape.  I colored cute Cammy with my Copic markers and cut her out before perching her on the lace with Pop Dots.  My sentiment is from Gina K's "Primitive Blessings" stamp set.  I added a few flowers and crystals to finish her off.

I LOVE the teal, blue and greens together and can't wait to do more of these adorable Cammy images.

I hope you have a fabulous Friday!  I will be heading out to a nearby small town with my son's high school marching band for state competition at 1:00 PM... THEN... we are heading to another Mid-Iowa Marching Band Competition in Ankeny, IA where they perform at 9:00 PM!!! Oy!!!  Can you say, one tired momma here!!  The worse part is we are suppose to have rain all day and cold.  If I wasn't a volunteer parent who's job is to help the Pit take their instruments onto the field, I'd DEFINITELY be under LOTS of blankets and rain gear!!!  As it is, I'm afraid I'll be one "soaked up" parent by the time we get home which should be around 1:00 AM!!  Wish us luck with the competitions and if you have a moment... say a prayer for momma's old bones!  Hee

A few flowers and self-adhesive pearls finish off my card.

What??? Are you sick??? Do you need someone to come take care of you??? Nurse you back to health??? I can help with that... I have the perfect woman... "Mrs. Krabbits" from I Brake For Stamps!!  She's not NEAR as bad as nurse Ratched, right?? Hee

I used Pure Luxury Red Hot card stock as my base and In the Navy layered with some  GK Patterned Paper, "Pool Side".  I stamped my image on white and colored it with my Copic markers prior to cutting her out and mounting her with Pop Dots.  My sentiment is from Tami Mayberry's newest set, "Ticket Trio".  I soooo love this set.  I KNOW it would work on every card I make. Hee Hee

Love you Mowerrrrr...

It's that time of year... yep... the yard needs kept up!  My son is in charge of the mowing in our home and I'm sure I don't need to say, as a teen, sometimes he really isn't thrilled about it.  But... that allowance sure is wanted when he's ready to go have fun with his friends. LOL  Today I decided to make him a pic of what I figured his wife might send HIM some day! HA HA HA!  Kidding!!!!  But I did give it to him and say... "Here she is.... the love of your life!" LOL  He got a kick out of it!

My hard-working woman is, of course, one of those fun and fabulous images from I Brake For Stamp's, Humorous Seniors.  You know... you do one of these and you just can't help having fun while crafting!!!  This sexy lady is "Mowlene"... bwahahahaha... I know, I know, but I can't help laughing! 

My card begins with Pure Luxury Jelly Bean Green... love that green!  I layered on some Bubblegum Pink and then a few papered papers from Echo Park.  My image was stamped on White and  colored with Copic markers.  I cut it out using my Labels 4 Nestabilities.  My dies are from Bunny Zoe and the tags are from StampinUp.

Oh ya... did you notice Mowlene has curlers in her hair!!!  Shame on her! LOL

Grandma's Night Out...

It's been a long time since I created this sweet little granny but I never had a chance to post it on my blog.  This fun image is from I Brake For Stamps, Humorous Seniors, "Bunco Betty". 

I started my card with Pure Luxury Little Boy Blue and layered it with some Black Onyx.  I added a few of the DP's from the Gina K Patterned Paper Packs, Casual Friday.  My image was stamped on white and I used my Copic markers to color it in.  I added a few flowers and Prima black swirls to the mix the adhered the image with Pop Dots.

Work it Girl.....

My pal, Cheryl and I recently joined the Planet Fitness gym and have been meeting up on my days off to "work out" together.  Well... I have to say first... I'm feeling a little prejudice going on with that there gym.... hee hee.  Cheryl got a BLACK t-shirt when she signed up and me... well... I ended up with a white one!  You see, Cheryl joined the program that allowed her to 1) tan and 2) use the massage machines.  Pffft.  Needless to say... I DON'T need a tan... and if you ask me... I go there to work out, get sore muscles and well.. NOT for a massage!!!  So THERE, Cheryl!! LOL  But regardless of the practices of the gym, I decided to send my pal a little "pick-me-up".  Cheryl won't be able to meet up with me today because of a prior engagement so I'll miss her but... wanted to let her know I'm there... doing the grind!  Hee

My image is from the I Brake For Stamps, Humorous Seniors, "No Pain No Gain Gladys".  OMGosh I KNOW I can't get into THAT position.  Well... at least not get UP from that position!! LMBO

My card base is Pure Luxury Black Onyx layered with Wild Dandelion and Vibrant Violet.  I stamped my image on White and colored with my Copics.  I used my Oval Nestabilities to cut out my image and mounted it with Pop Dots to give my card some dimension.  My sentiment and the little tennis shoes I stamped to attach to my bow are from the Just Rite stamp set, "Just Keep Calm".  The die cut is from Susana's Custom Art & Card Designs, Memory Box Dies, "Elegant Scrollwork".

I was sent a couple Marvy Uchida markers to try out and give my opinion on from my supplier and those are listed with the Copics I used.  I must say they blended beautifully with the Copics and I had no issues with bleed over the stamped image either.  I liked the colors and the brush tip but wasn't happy that they aren't refillable.  But... on the other hand I really liked the rich colors and they are a cheaper alternative to the Copics with much the same results.  I also was impressed with the many colors available though not as many as the Copics but in reality you don't need all the Copics to achieve all that you would want to color with.  Overall, I would definitely recommend the Marvy Uchida permanent alcohol markers to anyone wanting to try their hand with alcohol makers at a much cheaper cost than Copics.
