To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

I have no idea how you are all going to pick what you stamp/create first with all these wonderful October released sets!!!  The Stamp TV set is no different!!!  I had so many choices, it just was not easy to feature/pick just one.  But today, I decided on this tone-on-tone card to share.

I used some Pure Luxury Specialty Paper, "Silver Lining" as my base and layering card stock.  I ran the layering sheet through my Cuttlebug using my Flourished Frame embossing folder.  I stamped the images using Versamark and used my Ranger Superfine Silver Embossing Powder.  Again, using my sentiment I embossed in silver.

I raised the top layer up with Pop Dots and added a few self-adhesive rhinestones on the flourish.

Next up... One Free with 3, "Holiday Tags"... Gina K Designs

For the "One Free with 3" set, I decided to use the rectangle tags and stamp my sentiments across them all.

I started with Pure Luxury Red Hot and layered on some Fresh Asparagus.  I ran my white layer through the Cuttlebug and used the Swiss Dot embossing folder on it.  I also embossed a border around all four sides using my Scor Buddy.  I stamped the tags on the Patterned Paper Pack, "Blizzard" and paper pieced them onto the white card stock where I stamped my images and sentiments. I colored the images with my Copic markers and added Pop Dots to raise them up a bit.  My tiny paper clips I found in my stash along with the rhinestones.

Gina K Designs DT Inspiration Hop Day 2

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

For my card today I decided to think "outside the box" and do a few black ornaments.  Who does that?? LOL  Well... I really like it!!!  Beth's set really gives you a ton of options and I just couldn't resist showing as many of those ornaments as I could fit onto one card!!

I started with some Pure Luxury Turquoise Sea and added a layer of Black Onyx.  I stamped my images on white and for the teal one, heat embossed it for some added dimension.  The long filigree ornament has to be one of my favs in the set!!!

With Tami's sets it's always fun and easy to do a CAS card.  I wanted to showcase this awesome snowflake sentiment with some of the awesome paper in the newest Patterned Paper Pack, "Merry Little Christmas".

My card base is Pure Luxury Ivory.  I added the Patterned Paper then another strip of Ivory which I stamped the snowflake on.  I used the lid of a nearby glue bottle to make my cut around the top and bottom of the snowflake.  I added Stardust Stickles to the ends of the snowflake for added pop and dimension.

I REALLY like this card.  I'm  sometimes surprised at how a card finishes up and sometimes wonder how I got there! This is one of those cards! LOL

My card base is Pure Luxury Fresh Asparagus.  I added some Cranberry Tart and more of that fabulous paper from the "Merry Little Christmas" pack.  I stamped the background words onto Sand card stock and then my mistletoe.  Once I got to stamping these berries and leaves, I was hooked on the set and wanted to make more.  Ha  So fun doing little "connect" sets! I distressed the edges and added some Tim Holtz Distress ink, "Pine Needles" around the edges.

Check out more  amazing designs and inspiration from the rest of the Design Team:

Gina K Designs DT Inspiration Hop

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Melanie is at it again with more fantastic state flowers for us!  And what a perfect time to add Oklahoma to the mix with the mistletoe being it's state's flower!!!  From what I hear, a rose may have been adopted a few years back as the official flower, but for sure it, at one time, was the mistletoe as well.  So... I'm sure Melanie will have you covered.  ;-)

My card base is Pure Luxury card stock, Cranberry Tart, layered with some white and then a layer of Green Grass.  I added a layer of DP from the Patterned Paper Pack, "Merry Little Christmas" and stamped my image on more White then colored with my Copic markers.  I added Liquid Pearl drops for my berries and a few self-adhesive pearls at the bottom.  I did a bit of distressing around the edges and added some Tim Holtz Distress Ink, "Fired Brick" before adhering my image using Pop Dots.

Theresa's set has so many options to it that it was hard for me to decide which I wanted to work with first.  :-)  I decided to go with a simple layout and a repeat design.

My card base is Pure Luxury Lovely Lavender layered with some Vibrant Violet and a layer of white.  I added a lower border to resemble a table top or shelf then took some DP from the Patterned Paper Pack, "Hello Sunshine".  My vases were stamped in Memento ink and I added the flower bunch using the same ink and stamping over the vase which deepened the color where the flowers were.  I used a deeper ink color to stamp the words at the top of the vases.

My vases were also popped up to give them a bit more dimension using Pop Dots.

"Star Light, Star Bright.... "

Hi friends... today I'm sharing a softer serene image.  Mostly because this is how I feel today.  NOT angelic.. oh no.. that's not MY style.. LOL  Of course, those of you who know me, yep, you know this.  HA!  But... I DO like soft... pastels and definitely sparkle.  This sweet angel is another Chelsea Le Design, "Christmas Angel Avie" available at I Brake for Stamps.

My card begins with Pure Luxury Bubble Gum pink card stock.  I added on a layer of white and then some DP I found in my stash.  My image was stamped on white and colored with Copic markers.  I used a moon, star corner border and one of the clouds I found in the Silhouette Cameo store.  The cloud on the right is from La La Lands die set, "Cloud, Sun and Island" set.

Of course, I added as much Stardust Stickles as I could here and there.  Nothing trumps "sparkle"!!!! Hee

I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday.  I'm trying to finish up a few more samples for the Gina K Designs DT Inspiration Hop which begins tomorrow!!! Don't forget!!  As always, Gina will have pirzes up for grabs!!!  Don't forget!!!!  See you then!! *HUGS*]

Believe!

I do!!!  And I have... for a long, long time!!!  So when I decided to quit my job... after MUCH convincing from my dear husband... I decided I needed to keep believing!  Believing, we'd be ok... financially... that things would work out as "I" wanted them to..  and that the dreams I still have will still happen.

And, if you know me... you'd know THIS is MY word!!  I recently had a birthday in August and one of my gifts was a beautiful hand-painted vase with the word, "Believe" written in a heart on it.  Yep... everyone knows I BELIEVE.

But... I have to remember to "believe" in myself!  That is the hardest thing for me to do.  So, it seemed only fitting that I chose this to tattoo on my wrist.  A daily, constant reminder.  I found the image online and decided not ONLY was it the word, but the heart.  You see, I've never had a ton of faith in ME.  Others have... including my husband... but me... it's something I've struggled with for a long time.  I suspect I will struggle for many years.

I'm just not all I WANT to be to myself.  I never have been.  And, well, after 52 years of growing, you'd think I could believe... just a bit.  I've done many many things.  I've been offered many things.  I've been complimented, loved, and praised more than I can remember; but still, I struggle with "believing" in ME.  I know it sounds terrible and a bit sad; but honestly, I do try.  And now, I can't avoid reminding myself just by having this with me... always.

I am a HUGE supporter of finding a cure for breast cancer.  My dearest friend died from it and I do as much as I can to always support it.  So, to not only honor her, but to support the search for a cure, the "B" was perfect!!

And, that's not all.  Because my husband was/is the one who has probably taught me the most about having faith, having a dream and always believing in myself, I had yet another tattoo done at the same time.

Hidden under my wedding ring, is my husband's name.  Now, there is a story not in just that HE is the love of my life, but... the reason the tattoo is the way it is.  When the tattoo artist drew it on my finger, he grabbed a towel and some "cleaner".  He started to wipe it away.  I looked at him and asked why he was doing that.  He said... "The 'D' isn't quite even and proportioned correctly.  I looked at it face on and said... "No, it's fine."  He insisted.. "No, look at it...it's not the same size, it need to be a bit bigger and down more."  I answered him with, "I know. It's not perfect.  I see that.  But... honestly, no man is."  He laughed and I added... "Seriously... no ONE is perfect... no man, no woman, and... no marriage.  I want it to be the way it is.  Besides, it will be under my wedding ring and no one will be seeing it unless I show them. So, leave it that way, please."  He did. And, I love it.  I love it so much.  So, even though it's not MY design (for I just asked for his name and a tiny heart ABOVE it.. he decided to use the heart as the "o"), it's MY story thus, MY tattoo.

So, there you have it... my first but not last... (I hear it's bad luck to have an even number tattoos and I DO want ONE other that won't be visible on a normal basis with my kids names) tattoo.

Oh for those who want to know... heck ya it hurt.  But hey... not NEARLY as bad or as LONG as child birth.  Hee

Thanks for letting me share my story with you.  Have a fab day!!!

"Wooo Hooo Witchy Woman...."

Do you know that song??? LOL  Oh gosh.. I'm showing my age AGAIN!!! Well... hopefully I don't look as bad as THIS witchy woman!!! ;-)  My image was given to me as a challenge by my fearless leader, Suzanne Dean.  Ya ok... I'll work with her! LOL  "Busted Down Witch" is from RickStdennis's Etsy store.  He has some real "witchy" stuff there... LOL  If you'd like the rubber version, you can purchase her loveliness at I Brake For Stamps.... here!

My card started with Pure Luxury Black Onxy.  I layered on some Tomato Soup... OMGosh I LOVE that color!!  I layered on some Halloween DP from Authentique.  My image was printed on Copic Xpress paper and colored with Copic markers.  I added a few flourishes and the web which I cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  My sentiment is from Beth Silaika's set, "Wicked".  I used Versamark to stamp the stars over the sentiment to give a hint of a watermark.  :-)

The more I look at this "witchy woman", the more I think, hmmmmm maybe I FEEL that way lately! LOL  Today was huge stressful day but tomorrow's a new one and I know it can only get better, right? I'm working on videos still and hope I can get most of them done by Sunday.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  It's going to be a lot of work but I KNOW I can do it!!

I hope you have a fabulous Thursday because you KNOW what tomorrow is, right??? Oh yeahhhhh... FRIDAY baby!! The start of the weekend!!!  Thanks for stopping by and SMILE today!!! I'm goin got!!  :-)  *HUGS*

"... And a Bottle of Rum... "

Now I may be old, but seriously??? I've had peeps tell me they never heard this before... "Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!"???? Seriously??? Ok then, so perhaps my little pirate won't be fully understood.  But hey, I THOUGHT I understood what I was doing here!  It turns out, ummmm not so much!  I THOUGHT I was doing this cute little pirate for a challenge but errrr... ummmm... ya, I couldn't figure out WHICH one!!! LOL  As my lovely friend (and I say that with as much sarcasm as I can!) Suzanne Dean tells me... "old timers!".  Yikes!!  But finally I realized... I found this cutey while searching through my personal files on my computer at work.  It turns out I got him quite some time ago from "In Style Stamps", which if memory serves me right... and obviously it doesn't most often... they are no longer in business.  :-(  So... I'll just have to say, my digi pirate is of no name and no home.  :-(  BUT... he IS home on my card today.

My card base is Pure Luxury Red Hot card stock.  I added DP I found in my stash along with a few pieces of Washi Tape.  My image was printed on Copic Xpress card stock and colored with Copic markers. I added a piece of Gina K's Patterned Paper Pack "Poppy Prints" behind my image.  I added a few self adhesive copper nail heads to accent my card.

I hope you're having a great Wednesday.  I've been busy the last couple days working on videos for my "Many Mini Books" scrapbook/journal class that will be offered through Color Me Creative web site November 1st.  I hope you'll join me for some fun ways to scrapbook and journal where you can feel you actually accomplished a LOT at the end of a day of crafting.  :-)

As always, I appreciate your stopping by and if I missed any of you in the Gina K Release Party Chat last week, I apologize.  You step away from your screen for five minutes and 10 pages have gone by!!  LOL  But it's all for fun and eye candy so hopefully I'll catch you next month!!  Oh and don't forget, next week the Gina K Design Team will be hopping with tons of inspiration using those awesome new stamps you saw at the party!! Woot!!  See you then!! *HUGS*

She's a Goner....

I hear that!! LOL  I just LOVE this sentiment.  Hee Hee  It's from Melanie Muenchinger's, "Basket Additions 3" at Gina K Designs.  I am sharing yet another image I did for the Color Me Creative Challenge which is to "add red" to your project.  Again, my image is from Tiddlyinks, "Vamp Me".  Now MY version, of course, shows my fair maiden already turned ... once bitten ... she's pale too! Ha Ha

My card base is Pure Luxury, Black Onyx.  I layered some Lemon Drop on top of that and then added some Red Hot.  Over the top I used a Hambly Overlay, "Black Le Romantique" from the Paper Temptress... love these overlays!  My image was cut out after being colored with my Copic markers.

I added more Red Hot and Lemon Drop card stock to stamp my sentiment on.

Halloween is coming soon.... are you ready for the little goblins?  My daughter (10) informed me she probably would not go out for Beggers Night (Trick or Treating) except to visit our family members.  Then she thought she'd hand out candy with my son from home.  *sigh*  I hate seeing them grow up.  I remember Steven stopped going fairly early because he was always so much taller than the kids his age.  THEN, it made me sad because I felt like he still had a few years of "fun" ahead of him to do those things but I also realized he felt awkward with the other kids his age.  :-(  But he REALLY gets into the Halloween spirit with decorating the front of the house for the kids when they arrive.  And every year I buy him a new "toy" to use for his decorating.  This year we got an old looking phone that rings when you dial it and when you pick it up it says all kinds of creepy things.  I think he's going to put it out for the kids to answer when they come to the door.  Hee

I hope your Tuesday is a good one. I'm busy video taping classes for my "Many Mini Books" class which will be available over at Color Me Creative on November 1st.  Hope you check it out!  It's going to be so much fun!!!  *HUGS*

Fall is Here!

Today I'm sharing a wonderful image drawn by Anne Fenton of the Outlawz DT.  Isn't it fabulous???  I had so much fun coloring this image for our Pumpkin Challenge last week.  I'm sure the upper "berries" were also probably grapes but I wanted to add another color (such as those red/orange berries you see on wreaths and swags quite often... bittersweet?) to the mix.  If you played in the challenge, Anne gave this and a few more of her wonderful images away.

My card started with some Papertreyink, "Canyon Clay", cardstock.  I layered on a bit of "Fine Linen" and then some papers from Patterned Paper from the Gina K "Casual Friday" pack.  Along the right side I found a stash of gold microbeads that I hadn't used in forever and thought they went wonderfully with my Fall colors.  I colored my image with Copic markers and distressed the edges a bit then added some Tim Holtz Distress Ink, "Vintage Photo" on them.

A few buttons and some purple twine to bring accent my grapes  bit finish it off.

I hope you have a fabulous Monday.  I'm going to be playing with some new Gina K Designs stamps!!! Woot!!  Have you gotten yours yet??? *HUGS*

Today I am sharing a cute image from Tiddly Inks.  And, how appropriate that my image has to do WITH ink. LOL  My card uses "Inking of You" digi image.  I created this card for the Color Me Creative Challenge to use Red in your image.  I couldn't resist giving this cutey RED boots! I mean...yes even "I" had red boots when I was younger. LOL  I remember them soooo well...my mom bought them from JC Penneys and I LOVED them!! But I remember at gym I would have to take them off and they made ALL my socks RED and my feet stunk!!! LOL  But I couldn't resist wearing them anyway!!! Ha Ha!  Yes... elementary school days. Hee  Ok ok... on with the card details.  ;-)

I started with some Papertreyink, "Enchanted Evening" card stock and layered it with their "Blueberry Sky".  My image is printed on Copic Xpress and colored with Copics as well.  My "I Love You" was cut using my Silhouette Cameo (love that thing!).  I added a bit of twine and a Websters Sparkler to the mix.  Then finished it off with a couple heart shaped rhinestones I found in my stash.

I love this image and will definitely be using it again.  I can see it with a "just a note" sentiment on it as well.  Perfect I think for a card set!!

I'm soooo happy it's Friday today!  I'm not sure why since I no longer work... but maybe it has something to do with STILL having to get up early and get my son to early jazz band practice and my daughter to school early this week for Safety Patrol duty.  Oy!  No rest for the wicked, huh?  Or at least for a mom... that's for sure. Hee  Wouldn't trade it for anything though!  :-)

Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments... I LOVE reading your thoughts and what you're enjoying about my blog.  Have a great day!!!  *HUGS*

Gina K Release Party & Bingo!!!!

Before I get started on my card, I want to remind you that tonight is the Gina K Designs Release Party!!! Woot!!  New stamps coming your way!!!  Join us tonight at 7:00 PM CST over on Stamp TV for the preview of the new October Release featuring samples from all the awesome illustrators!!!!  Hope to see you there!!!

Today I am sharing a card I created for the Outlawz Challenge site.  The Twisted Thursday challenge team is offering up a game of Bingo!!!  That's right... use our "bingo" card to create your design anyway you'd like but be sure you have a "Bingo!!" to be entered into the challenge.

My card sample started with some Pure Luxury Turquoise Sea card stock.  I added a layer of White then some DP from the Patterened Paper Pack, "Blizzard".  A bit more of the Turquoise Sea and another layer from the same DP pack that had a few highlights of turquoise in the paper.  My sentiment is from the "Seasonal Labels" stamp set from Gina K Designs.

I added some flowers to complete my "Bingo!".

I hope you join us and play along.  There are some pretty awesome variations you can choose and I couldn't decide which I wanted to play with until it was almost to late!! LOL  I hope you have a fabulous day!!
